Mrs. Marienne Cadle

Mrs. Marienne Cadle was the Thespian Advisor, listed in the 1947 Reveille Yearbook.
Cadle Theater in [the old] LWHS was named after our French teacher Marienne Cadle who was a sweet soul and sophisticated lady. She'd studied in Paris, traveled to Asia and taught in Hawaii. She was the advisor for the Thespian Club in the early 50s [ listed as such in the 1947 Reveille (Ed.)] and as our French teacher later she took her class to dinner at the best French restaurant in Seattle, the Maison Blanc. She passed in '59 and was memorialized with this photo in the 1960 Reveille. She had a generosity of spirit and was a fabulous teacher."
